Have you found your Christmas bubble?

Well… unlike many care experienced young people, I’m very lucky to have a place to stay for Christmas. I’m very much looking forward to a nice warm dinner and the Celebrity Gogglebox special on Christmas Day.

It has been a strange year for the world and I think it has given many of us time to realise and appreciate what we really have. I have been counting my blessings, and I hope you have been too.

One thing that I have learned is to live life in the moment. With new advances in science and technology the planet is constantly adapting and changing.

A lot more time to myself has been a great thing. Before COVID I was constantly on the move to different lectures, conferences and countries. The pandemic has led to a massive change in my routine, turning my face-to-face teaching sessions at university online, as well as my private tuition job.

My New Years resolution is to make every day count. Towards a project, my future career or simply towards my passion-driven mindset. With my determination, I have every reason to be successful in what I do.

'Tis the season
